Theatre Artists of all abilities are welcome to join our inclusive scene in this year's production of Seussical the Musical!

For anyone who may want to try being a part of a theatrical production but isn’t ready to commit to attending a lot of rehearsals, we offer an inclusive scene. In our production of The Wizard of Oz, our inclusive scene was Munchkinland. Cast members who wanted to do this scene attended the beginning of the performance as audience members, and then, as the story transitioned to Munchkinland, they took their places onstage! Once the scene was finished, they returned to their seats in the audience or visited our sensory space. 

For this production, we are looking for additional cast members to play Fish or Underwater Creatures in the “It’s Possible” scene! Jojo’s imagination (along with the Cat in the Hat) turns his bathtub into McElligot’s Pool–and that’s a big Think!

Here’s how it will work:

• Cast members for this scene will sit in the audience (or hang out in the Sensory Break Space) during the beginning of the performance. They are encouraged to stay with their loved ones!

• After the Jungle of Nool scene, we arrive in Whoville!

• The Cat in the Hat will sing to Jojo, encouraging him to use his imagination, and the cast members will join the scene onstage.

• At the end of the inclusive scene, cast members will return to their seats in the audience, check out our Sensory Break Space or are free to go!

• Sundays 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27 from 6pm-7pm

• Final Dress Rehearsal

• Thursday, Nov 7th at 6:30pm

• Participants can attend as many or as few performances as they would like!
