of the Three Little Pigs”
as told by the Big Bad Wolf
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Have you ever wondered about the Wolf's version of story
of the Three Little Pigs? Well on Saturday April 18th at 4PM at Tri-C
Metropolitan Campus, Main Stage Theatre 2900 Community College Ave. (Woodland
entrance), Cleveland, OH 44115, Foluké
Cultural Arts is telling the Wolf's side of the story.
The True Story of the Three
Little Pigs is a childrens’ story presented with an urban twist, that is FUN
for the entire family. It’s a play, a musical, and dance performance. The Cast
is a mix of Foluké Students, Foluké Instructors, Foluké-JATA (our dance company
from Detroit), and Students from the Greater Cleveland Area (who joined us
through open auditions). It will be a great time for the entire family! Advance tickets: $12 Adults, $7 Seniors and Students,

Based on the book written by
Jon Scieszka, The True Story of The Three Little Pigs is directed by Ms. Angela
Winborn, and Choreography is by Mr. Kevin Marr, II.
Foluké Cultural Arts Center, Centrals ONLY arts center, is committed to making performing arts and
arts education available to all, particularly those who live in “underserved”
areas. The programming of Foluké is
family oriented with focus on at-risk children and youth. The goal is to provide positive alternatives
to negative behaviors by instilling discipline, self-pride and boosting
self-confidence through self-expression and self-discovery. Foluké Cultural Arts offers instruction and
exposure to the performing and visual arts, and arts education for all ages,
regardless of race, religious affiliation or economic background. The vision of Foluké Cultural Arts is to
provide arts services to the greater Cleveland area with a special commitment
to the Central ‘Promise’ Neighborhood, with a goal to utilize the arts to serve
as a catalyst for academic achievement, socio-economic development and
community pride.
Programs implemented include instruction in: Ballet, Modern Dance and
Hip Hop; Musical and Dramatic Theatre; Creative Writing; Drumming and various genres of Visual Arts
(Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, etc) within the Central Community and at our
facility on Carnegie Avenue.
