Fairmount Center for the Arts is a non-profit multi arts center in Geauga county.  
Fairmount offers programs for toddlers through seniors in dance, music, theatre and visual arts.  

We are looking for a music instructor for the week of June 5th through the 9th to lead an afternoon music camp. Instructors will teach students beginning Ukulele and Recorder. Instructors will also facilitate snack break time.

Camp will run from 1-4pm (15 hours total) at Fairmount Center for the Arts (8400 Fairmount Road, Novelty, OH 44072). Camp maximum will be set to no more than 15 students.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead lessons in Ukulele & Recorder for 3rd to 5th Grade Students. Develop an interactive lesson plan for the week to teach children the basics of Ukulele & Recorder.  
• Building a body of work to be shared out for a culminating performance at the end of the week.  Performance will be the last 15-20 minutes of camp on Friday during a Share Day with parents, funders, and staff.
• This music camp is fully supported by The Ashly Whitmer Correa Foundation through Ashly's Melody of Hope Summer Music Camp. Students will be supplied with their own instruments as well as music books and stands.
