Film: Detox

Description: This is a short story about a young man struggling to let go of his past and how it affects him trying to move forward in life.

Characters:

David - (any ethnicity, male, 18+) A struggling college student who’s constant and firm grasp onto the past prevents him from moving forward in his life.

Girl - (any ethnicity, female, 18+) A woman whose presence causes tension and leads to questionable intentions.

Julie - (any ethnicity, female, 18+) A friend of David who tries to help and has his best interest in mind.

Mom - (any ethnicity, female, 30+) A benevolent mother who struggles to connect with her son.

Target shoot dates (Must be available on weekends): mid-late March (dates may vary)

Target rehearsal dates: TBD

Meals, credit, and a copy of the film will be provided. Intended to submit into festivals. Not supported by the Screen Actors Guild.
