This is for a production of "Lady Day at Emerson Bar and Grill" starring Nicole Sumlin as Billie Holiday.

The dog appears very briefly (2 minutes onstage?) towards the end of the 90 minute show. So please know there's not a lot of "stage time" per se. We are looking for a dog (and owner!) who are extremely even tempered and would be comfortable being led on a leash and held (the dog---not the owner). The dog will come in contact with two actors onstage and an ASM backstage.

We would need to have the dog for a minimum of one rehearsal (preferably two) prior to Thursday's Preview on March 14th. Beyond Preview the schedule is March 15th thru April 14th, Fri/Sat evenings and Sunday afternoons.

$150 is offered for gas compensation.
