On April 17^th, Near West Theatre is kicking off our brand new Detroit Shoreway Youth Chorus, for kids ages 8-14. The program will focus on vocal performance, and will also integrate music literacy, movement, and percussion. Kids will sing new music as well as traditional with a fresh, Near West Theatre approach! As with all NWT programs, participation in the Detroit Shoreway Youth Chorus is free.

Rehearsals will meet twice a week:

Performances will be quarterly, with dates TBA.

Interested singers should reach out to Bailey as soon as possible. Space is limited, and priority will be given to residents and students of the Detroit Shoreway area. A wait list has been started for those outside of the Shoreway who are interested.
