PRODUCTIONMANAGER Contract Period: January 1, 2018-April 30, 2019
The Musical Theater Project seeks a PRODUCTIONMANAGER for a 4-month contract to produce the musical 42nd Street at Playhouse Square’s Ohio Theatre. Services required include:
Preparing production budgets, management and monitoring of accurate expenditures and ensuring adherence to production, staffing, and maintenance budgets
Planning and maintaining the production schedule
Working with TMTP to contract designers and production staff
Working with unions to ensure compliance and payment
Ensuring activities are handled in a safe and responsible manner, and that rehearsal and performance spaces are well maintained
Creating and maintaining documentation and inventories as needed
Working with designers, directors and production staff to ensure that all productions are realized within the constraints of the schedules and budget
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of three to five years experience working as productionmanager in a professional union theatre, experience at PlayhouseSquare preferable.
