Anticipated start date would be July 1. Production begins rehearsals on August 14. Opening Night is August 31. Production closes September 9. All rehearsals and performances held at Cuyahoga Community College - Eastern Campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Work with the Scenic Designer and Director to determine prop needs for the show;
2) Facilitate the building/creation of props; Shop for props; Coordinate rentals/borrowing;
3) Work with the Production Manager to ensure that props remain within the budget;
4) Oversee the return of all borrowed/rented items upon the closing of the production
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate has a strong background as a theatrical props designer/artisan;
Experience working within a budget and coordinating labor;
Self-starter who is able to make confident choices based on aesthetic notes from a designer.
This is a paid position that will need to have incremental availability in July for pulling/coordination, and from Aug 6-Sept 11 to facilitate rehearsals/tech/production needs.
