STAGECRAFTERS TEEN ACADEMY ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR
CHILDREN OF EDEN
(for students in 8th - 12th Grade)
From musical theatre greats, Stephen Schwartz and John Caird, comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents and children... not to mention centuries of unresolved family business! Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet. but inspiring. message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."
Auditions are open to students in grades 8–12. Those wishing to audition should come prepared to sing 32 measures of a song which showcases their vocal performance and song interpretation ability. An accompanist will be provided for those bringing sheet music and a CD player will be available for those wishing to audition with instrumental accompaniment trax. There will also be a dance combination to learn so comfortable clothes and jazz or tennis shoes should be worn. Audition packets can be downloaded at the Stagecrafters page of www.orangerec.com. Completed audition packets must be signed by parents and brought to the auditions. We will provide packets at auditions if you are unable to fill one out prior.
