WHAT: Informal sharing group for writers of all kinds, all experience levels, to come and read work, meet other writers, find artistic partners and friends. Modeled after a writing open mic of the same name held twice-monthly at Hugo House in Seattle, WA. No critiques. No formal feedback (though you are welcome to meet and talk with writers after). Just an open, sharing space to say the words you are writing in front of others who are doing that, too. Poetry, song lyrics, plays, screenplays, novels, essays, articles, memoirs, etc. Any type of writing is welcome - even longer pieces - as long as you can fit the piece, or an excerpt of it, into your given time slot. Time slots will be allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
