Applied Intimacy: Deepening our Connection to Chemistry and Exploring Intimate Kinesphere*
Sunday, March 8th, 5-8 PM
The first step in applying what you've learned is to make it specific to your task. This class aims to introduce tools to take on situations as a performer:
-Deepening our Connection to Chemistry: Technical and imagination-based exercises to create on-stage connections to acting partners in various scripted relationships (romantic, platonic, familial).
-Exploring Intimate Kinesphere: an exercise on how to create a full kinesphere and a discussion of how to use kinesphere to communicate your character’s level of comfortability and consent.
Find out how best to introduce these topics, overcome obstacles in a safe and respectable manner, and follow a roadmap that leads to the successful creation of dynamic, intimate moments made sustainable by the collaboration of all parties involved.
*You must either attend the Introduction to Intimacy workshop on January 12th or have attended a prior introductory workshop as a prerequisite for this course.
$125 or $225 for both workshops (Discount applied after registration is completed for both workshops)
