"Welcome to the Auditions for Paper Figs! I am excited to announce that my play will be work shopped in CPT's Big Box Week #2 alongside Best Intentions by Amy Fritsche, Courtney Brown and Catie O’Keefe."

Auditions are being held for Paper Figs next Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Kultivation Theater located at 2134 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Please come prepared with a short monologue, head shot and resume, you may also be asked to read sides from the script. If you are auditioning for the role of Iris, please prepare an a cappella song. Character desriptions are listed below.

Character descriptions for Paper Figs:

Iris Smith: Female, African American, Early 30’s, doctor, medium/average build, reserved and determined, has a strong singing voice.

Manuel Goldberg: Male, Jewish, Early to Mid 30s, bookstore owner, slender to medium build, eager and resilient.

Tavora Goldberg: Female, Jewish, Mid 20's, wife of Manuel, petite build, young minded yet strong willed

Grant Williams: Male, African American, Early 30's, lawyer, muscular build, charismatic and persistent.

Young Iris: Female, African American, can play ages 14, 15 & 16, free spirited and full of life, good singing voice.

Young Manuel: Male, Jewish, can play ages 16, 17 & 18. Reserved, yet adventurous.
