BEREA, OH – The Department of
Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University presents Testing Ground directed by Professor Sara Whale.

Baldwin Wallace University student and faculty dance makers are experimenting
with in their laboratory! Testing
Ground is a biannual event that offers
choreographers the chance to show new dance works that are in the developmental
stage. Audience members can participate by offering written feedback to the
artists to encourage them in their editing process. Nine student and faculty
choreographers will be presenting at this year’s Testing Ground. The production will also feature performances by Cleveland hip hop artist Sam McIntosh,
Baldwin Wallace's Urban Dance Association, Baldwin Wallace Dance team, and a
sneak peak of Megan Young's new work titled, “Every morning I wake up and
wonder”.
Testing Ground will be performed in the John Patrick Theatre, located in the
Kleist Center for Art & Drama, 95 E Bagley Rd, Berea, OH 44017, on the
following date:
Wednesday, April 25th
at 6pm (Please note early start time)
Admission is free, however
donations will be accepted to help support travel and accommodation expenses for students attending the 2019 American College Dance Association Conference.
