October 22, 2021, Chagrin Falls OH- This holiday season Chagrin Valley Little Theatre brings the magic of Miracle on 34th Street to the Main Stage at 40 River Street in the heart of Chagrin Falls. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm from November 19 to December 11 at 7:30 pm and Sundays November 28 and December 5 at 2:00 pm.

Adapted by Mountain Community Theater from the Valentine Davies novel and the iconic film of the same name, this story about the power of believing will brighten your whole family’s holiday.

Kris Kringle, an old man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy's. Kris unleashes waves of good will with Macy's customers and the commercial world of New York City by referring parents to other stores to find exactly the toy their child has asked for. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy's vocational counselor, who plots to have Kris shanghaied to Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing. Especially at stake is one little girl's belief in Santa - the daughter of Macy's head of personnel.

The show features Stephen Morris as Kris Kringle; Victoria Kirgesner as Doris Walker; Daniel Hunsicker as Fred Gayley; and eight-year-old Vivian Morrison as Susan Walker. But they will not be the only ones on stage. The holiday show has a long tradition of family involvement in the productions. “The holidays are a special time for families. It’s important that they experience the holidays together. If one family member is cast, the whole family is invited to participate.” says Director Michael J. Rogan.

Tickets are $19 regular and $15 senior/student. All seating is general admission. We recommend buying your tickets as soon as possible and on the day of the show arriving one half hour before showtime to choose your preferred seating.

There are two special events connected to this year’s production. On Thursday November 18 at 7:00 pm, Page to Stage, a series connecting books to what is happening on stage, will feature Macy’s: The Store, The Star, The Story by Robert Grippo. This fascinating book traces the retailer’s one-hundred-and-fifty-year history and will enhance your enjoyment of the show. Registration for this free and virtual program is required. To purchase the book for yourself, or as the perfect holiday gift visit,  Fireside Book Shop a receive 20% your purchase.

Thanks to the generous support of Junction Auto, proceeds from the Sunday November 28 at 2:00 pm performance will benefit Friends of WomenSafe. We are pleased to once again partner on this yearly fundraising opportunity to support their important work. All tickets for this performance only are $19.
