All characters are early-mid thirties, any race or ethnicity.
The reading will be at the Creative Space at Waterloo Arts in North Collinwood. (287 E. 156 Street, Cleveland, 44110.) Rehearsals will be at the same venue or another nearby space.
This is an unpaid reading, but a great chance to be involved in an exciting new play!
====================================
As mentioned above, all characters are early-mid thirties, any race or ethnicity.
RALPH: Disenchanted with the domestic life he has made with his wife, Deb. Obsessing to the point of delusional fantasies that disrupt his daily life. The subject of his obsessions is a woman from high school who friended him on Facebook.
DEB: Reeling from her young teenage son moving out of the house due to problems within the family. Desperate for something to take care of, becoming obsessed with an injured bird. Disenchanted with her marriage to Ralph.
MICKY: A high class slimeball who tries to cover up his loneliness by counting the notches on his bedpost. He is also desperate, like Deb, for a real connection and meaning in life.
SALLY: Two distinct characters: one fantasy and one reality. The first is a seductress, vivacious and even somewhat dangerous. The second is a warm-but-firm woman solidly grounded in reality.
