CSU Scholarships supported by Cleveland Play House

$20 Benefit Tickets

SUNDAY – APRIL 16, 2017

Cleveland State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance, a Resident Company of Playhouse Square, will receive scholarship support from Cleveland Play House (CPH) through the sale of discounted, $20.00 benefit tickets to selected CPH shows during the 2016-2017 Season.

Final CSU Benefit Show for the Season -

"FREAKY FRIDAY" - Sunday, 4/16/17 @ 6:30 p.m.

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again before mom’s big wedding. Freaky Friday, a new musical comedy based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and hit Disney films, is a hilarious, contemporary update of an American classic in which a mother and daughter really see what it is to be a family and experience each other’s lives first-hand, if only for a day.

Proceeds from the sale of these $20.00 benefit tickets will fund scholarships for CSU Theatre and Dance Department students. The tickets may be purchased by phone at 216.241.6000, online at playhousesquare.org or in person at the State Theatre Ticket Office, located at 1519 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland. Patrons should use code BENCSU when buying, and the $20.00 benefit tickets (over half-off the regular CPH price) are only available for the selected CPH performance and show date listed below. All performances take place in the Allen Theatre Complex at Playhouse Square.
