SIDESHOW
Book and Lyrics by Bill Russell
Music by Henry Krieger

Directed by Patrick Ciamacco
Music Direction by Lawrence Wallace
Choreography by Katie Zarecki

April 13 – 28

Based on the true story of Siamese twins Violet and Daisy Hilton who became stars during the Depression, Side Show is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary bondage brings them fame but denies them love. Told almost entirely in song, the show follows their progression from England to America, around the vaudeville circuit and to Hollywood on the eve of their appearance in the 1932 movie Freaks.

With a completely reworked plot and new songs like "VERY WELL CONNECTED", "ALL IN THE MIND", and "THE GREAT WEDDING SHOW", the 2014 revival delves deeper into the backstory of the Hilton twins. With the implementation of the twins' relationship with Harry Houdini and of a proposed separation surgery, the new book fleshes out characters and situations that endow the songs with more sophistication and truth.

HEDWIG
AND THE ANGRY INCH
Text By John Cameron Mitchell
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Trask

Directed by Alison Garrigan
Music Direction by Bradley Wyner
Choreography by Katie Zarecki

June 8 - 23

Hedwig and the Angry Inch tells the tale of how a “slip of a girlyboy” from communist East Berlin, Hanschel, becomes the “internationally ignored song stylist” known as Hedwig after a botched sex change operation. The show daringly breaks the fourth wall, as Hedwig directly tells the audience of her past tribulations and heartbreak in the form of an extended monologue paired with rock songs. With a little help from her band and her back-up singer Yitzhak, Hedwig examines her quest for her other half, for love, and ultimately for her identity. Featuring a groundbreaking rock musical score by Stephen Trask, Hedwig and the Angry Inch is hilarious, harrowing, and essentially uplifting for anyone who’s ever felt different.

Avenue Q

Music & Lyrics by Jeff Marx & Robert LopezBook by Jeff Whitty
Directed by Patrick Ciamacco
Music Direction by Matthew Dolan
Choreography by Katie Zarecki

December 7 -22

The laugh-out-loud musical tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that, although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

Filled with gut-busting humor and a delightfully catchy score, not to mention puppets, Avenue Q is a truly unique show that has quickly become a favorite for audiences everywhere. Although the show addresses humorous adult issues, it is similar to a beloved children's show; a place where puppets are friends, monsters are good and life lessons are learned.
