Show Dates: November 3 - December 3, 2023 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm (no show on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23)
Story: The flip-side of Charles Dickens' holiday classic as told through the journey of Ebenezer Scrooge's deceased business partner, Jacob Marley.
The script is written in the style of Story Theater, where actors take multiple roles, alternate between narration and dialogue, break the fourth wall and incorporate pantomime. Story Theater makes inventive use of props and costume pieces with the actors creating the sound effects.
Characters: The script calls for four performers.
Auditions are open to performers of all races, ethnicities and gender identification. Those auditioning are encouraged, but not required, to bring any musical instruments they may play and perform 16 bars of any Christmas or holiday song. Auditioners are also encouraged to display any additional talents they may have, i.e. juggling, acrobatics, circus skills, dialects, etc. These are not requirements.
All who are interested are encouraged to audition.
