LAND OF CLEVE INTERVIEW:
Omnipotent Actor
Kevin Cline
Spends Summertime With Hitler
in MAD* Factory's Hilarious Musical
'The Producers' Running July 20-29

Kevin Cline is excited to be returning to The MAD* Factory for his third summer, and anyone who has seen him perform onstage should be excited as well. The ever-busy actor is currently taking on the role of flamboyantly funny director Roger De Bris in The Producers. When his character is recruited at the last minute into playing the lead role of Hitler, it's Kevin's cue to steal the spotlight and prove without a doubt that there's "no greater dictator in the land."

Produced by Linda Michalak, The Producers is Mel Brooks’ sensational stage musical co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, music and lyrics by Mel Brooks; The MAD* Factory production is directed by Nina Fisher, with musical direction by Matthew Steven Grittner and choreography by Connie Laettner.

The Producers will be presented July 20-22 and 27-29, with performances Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2:30pm. The show will take place at Oberlin High School, located at 281 North Pleasant Street in Oberlin. Tickets can be paid for at the door, or can be purchased online in advance by visiting the
ticketing website.

Some of Kevin's favorite roles include Uncle Fester in The Addams Family at Broadview Heights Spotlights, Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at BTOTS, and the Earthworm in the inaugural Theater for Young Audiences production of James and the Giant Peach at Broadview Heights Spotlights....
