Cleveland Play House, America’s first regional theatre and recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has an immediate opening for a Scenic Artist. The Scenic Artist’s primary responsibility is to assist the Charge Scenic Artist with the painting and finishing of all scenic elements. Position requires a person who can follow instructions and is detail oriented. Qualified candidate must have good artistic skills and be able to interpret the designer’s intent from renderings and paint elevations. Must have good communication skills and be able to collaborate with designers and co-workers. Minimum of 1-3 years professional experience required. Position is full time, temporary.
