Under the guidance of the Production Managers, the Theatre Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to: performing multiple tasks as described in the LCCC Theatre Supervisor Job Description, including assisting with the operation and maintenance of College performance facilities, mechanical systems and equipment; assisting with the training and supervision of stage assistants, Theatre Assistants and Theatre Technicians; and assisting with managing, supervising and performing the operations of the Stocker Arts Center by implementing College and community events.

 

Required Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience; ability to work effectively with others in a team environment; ability to fulfill a proactive customer service philosophy; and ability and willingness to work a flexible, on-call schedule which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.  Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (70+ pounds).

 

Preferred Qualifications:  Three years in a supervisory capacity in a technical theatre setting:  knowledge of theatrical counterweight system and rigging, theatrical sound/lighting systems and maintenance.
