WHO IS THIS FOR?

This ACTING TECHNIQUE is for ACTORS & ACTING TEACHERS, both professionals and experienced amateurs, who yearn to enrich their craft!

* Applicants must be at least 18 years of age AND have completed one year of higher education. If not, they can submit a letter of recommendation for this program from a theatre practitioner (director, instructor, etc.) for consideration to cla2@case.edu

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

  • We are a CERTIFIED TEACHING PROGRAM of the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique (One of only two in the USA)
  • We are the ONLY Chekhov organization sponsored by a university
  • We are led by founding directors and CERTIFIED MASTER TEACHERS Catherine Albers (Professor Emeritus in Theatre-CWRU) and Lionel Walsh (Professor of Acting-University of Windsor, Canada)
  • We are supported by a full faculty of CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE TEACHERS (including local AEA and SAG/AFTRA actors Christopher Bohan & Jamie Koeth)
  • In our 12 YEARS we have trained and certified actors and teachers from all over the world who continue to spread the joy of this inspired work!
  • This year’s conference will take place IN PERSON at KSU!
