AUDITIONS!!!

Andy & Me is an original work written by Stu Pflaum and directed by James Rankin. It is a play inspired by the unique relationship between iconic New York artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. With New York City's burgeoning 1980s hip-hop scene as the backdrop, the play follows homeless artist Lex-Pierre LaFleur through his journey to legitimize graffiti art. Lex finds an unlikely muse in a man named Andy, who mentors and guides Lex on his journey to success.

Auditions are open to ALL and you are not required to be a Tri-C Student to be in the production.

There are five major roles; 4 male, 1 female.

LEX - 20s, African-American
ANDY - 20s-50s, Caucasian
JUAN - 20s, Hispanic
RAY - 20s, Caucasian
VIVIAN - 20-30s, Caucasian

There are 5-8 ensemble roles available for actors of all ages and experience levels.

Audition requirements: Please bring headshot and resume (if available), you will have the opportunity to perform a monologue, but it is not required. Be prepared to read from the script, and be dressed to move.
