Status:                     Flex Time Employee/Full Time

Reports to:              Executive Director

Overview:

The Marketing Administrator (MA) is responsible for developing the marketing of the FSO and FSO/SOA and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director (ED) and the FSO Board.  The MA is responsible under the guidance of the Marketing Committee to execute the Marketing Plan as set by the committee and ED.  The MA must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, collegial, energetic and articulate.  Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nonprofit and arts background preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Work with ED and Marketing Committee to develop and implement the marketing plan for the organization. This includes:

o   overall branding

o   season and single ticket sales

o   donor campaigns

o   special events

·       Manage and maintain a database with Patron Manager (PM).

·       Work with the staff to include PM supporters on appropriate mailing lists.

·       Target patrons (i.e., first time attendees) with special offers and surveys as outlined in Marketing Plan.

·       Track and update ticketing database information to analyze marketing/geographic trends in ticket buyers/concert attendees.

·       Publish reports to the ED.

·       Work with ED with area clubs and service organizations to promote special group ticket offers.

·       Assure effective communication with other arts organizations and public agencies as instructed by ED.

·       Manage Social Media platforms effectively.

·       Maintain Website with timely updates and accurate content.

·       Attend all events as an FSO representative.

·       Work cooperatively with all FSO staff members and the FSO Board.

·       All other duties as directed by the Executive Director and/or FSO Board

·       While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop, kneel and climb stairs.

·       Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

·       Light to moderate lifting is required.

·       Ability uphold the stress of traveling, including driving.

·       Regular, predictable attendance is required; including hours as business demands dictate.

·       Public speaking.
