Hello my name is Dayshawnda Ash. 

I am currently writing a play called Mirrors.  

The play is about; 

A Young woman dealing with the negative daily thoughts caused by her depression/ anxiety. Her depression and anxiety are played by the Greek chorus, this is a depiction of how others view us as well as how we view ourselves.

I’m looking to do a zoom reading Wednesday the 23rd from 7-8pm of Act I.

This is just a reading, not a show just to help me process my storyline.

Character Descriptions

Nova - 20-25 African American Full figured (BBW), bald headed or short hair, piercings, tattoo

 Sasha- Mid 20s vibrant, dark skinned, athletic body, tall long natural hair

Liam- Early 30’s, black man muscular, solid and tall, Very intelligent and sweet

Averie - Early 20s Rowdy, strong, speaks her mind, bohemian dread head stoner

Yasmine -Late 20s, average height light skinned or mixed, reserved

The Greek Chorus- Self Doubt, Fear, Loneliness ( Read by Nova’s friends) 

Bouncer- Stocky Football player build
