PREPARATION

Please prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue of your choosing, as well as a song selection from musical theatre or popular culture. Song may be acapella or accompanied by CD – an accompanist will not be provided.  Be prepared to read from sides.


ROLES (ages 10+)

The Beaver: (soprano/mezzo-soprano) Cheerful and industrious.

The Kangaroo: (tenor) Very hip, an artist.

The Rhino: (baritone/bass) Down-to-earth, a man of the people.

The Flamingo: (alto) Laid-back, from the islands.

Mother Wolf: (mezzo-soprano) Organized, supportive, the Donna Reed of the wolf world.

Puff: (alto) One of the cool wolves, snobby at times.

Rip: (baritone) A jock wolf, sees the world simply and in a straight-forward fashion.

Rory: (tenor) A video gamer wolf, a bit more clued into the subtleties of the world.

Big Bad Pig: (high baritone) A tough guy, the big bad pig on the block.


REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will begin in late December/early January. Generally rehearsals will be Sun-Fri in the evening with a possibility of some additional weekends. Schedule will be created based on availability.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Kristy Lee McNally is a Cleveland-based director, actor and visual artist. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Ohio University, as well as a limited branch of medicine license in Massage from the State Medical Board of Ohio.
