In this class, actors will learn how to approach a role through the study and practice of foundational acting principles within a fun, safe and creative environment. Through physical exercises, games, improvisational work and scene analysis, the actor will be encouraged to explore expansive and authentic behavior as it relates to the given circumstances. Although we will be examining traditional and non-traditional methodologies, the actor will have an opportunity to find his/her own sense of truth and process. Ultimately, the actor will learn the importance and necessity for truth and courage in their work as a creative artist.
