In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home – and her fins – behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

Artistic direction for Olmsted Performing Arts by Angela Boehm, musical direction by Michelle Cha, and choreography by Kaylea Kudlaty.

Auditions for Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. will be held on Sunday, January 22 beginning at 9:00 AM at Olmsted Performing Arts. Dance auditions will be held at 12:30 PM and are mandatory for all auditionees. If you leave after your individual audition time, plan to arrive dressed for dance (no jeans permitted) at about 12:15 PM to warm up. Call-backs for selected actors will be held at 2:00 PM.

Auditions are open for all actors ages 5–18. Please have your child come prepared to sing 16 measures. Bring clearly marked sheet music for our accompanist.
