THE TWINSBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY IS SEEKING A DIRECTOR FOR THEIR ANNUAL TEEN SUMMER PLAY.
Ideal candidates are responsible, compassionate, engaging, flexible people who love working with tweens and teenagers. The director must be confident leading a room of up to 25-30 students without a staff member present. Experience working with young people is necessary, and experience directing middle school or high school theatrical productions is a plus.
The director will receive a $400 stipend for the summer. Performances are Thursday, July 28th at 7pm, and Friday, July 29th at 2pm. The director of the play will create their own rehearsal schedule, which usually consists of approximately 3-4 rehearsals a week for around 2 hours each throughout June and July. This will be a short (usually between 30-45 minutes) performance aimed at young children.
