Great Lakes Theater Seeks: Audience Engagement Coordinator
Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s professional classic theater company at Playhouse Square, seeks a self-motivated, people/detail-oriented and energetic individual who possesses excellent communications
skills to join its creative/collaborative team.
The position works with the company’s Director of Marketing and Strategic Advancement to engage new and existing audiences and exceed earned income goals by cultivating/activating relationships with targeted audience segments, businesses, community organizations
and promotional partners.
The position also produces a series of audience engagement events, coordinates the editorial process for all institutional playbill publications, manages the operations of an on-site gift shop and curates/develops content for the company’s website and social
media networks.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and two or more years of experience in any/many of the following related areas: sales, special event planning, community outreach, marketing, writing/editing. Experience with ticketing and/or ticket-based software is
a plus as is a demonstrated background in creating/publishing video content online and basic graphic design.
