BEREA, OH – The Department of
Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University presents Weimar written by Les Hunter and directed by Anjanette Hall.
When a radical women's collective attempts to resist the
increasingly authoritarian inclinations of their own government, they are
forced to confront their own responsibility in creating the kind of world they
want to live in.
This experimental new play is based partially on contemporary and Weimar-era collectively
organized communitarian projects, and also out of extensive conversations
with the performers about their own social and political identities.
