Cuyahoga Community College is casting several roles for advanced-level student films that are slated to be produced during the months of July and August 2018. BEFORE THE BREAK OF DAWN – Director: Johnny Fortson
Casting notice is for a scene that takes place in a restaurant from a feature length screenplay written by Johnny Fortson.
[MAY] [FEMALE] [19 – 24] May is a young woman who is the daughter of Howard Williams. She has been sexually abused by Howard, and comes to understand in her attempt to erase what happened in her past, that it won’t just go away like she hoped it would. Although she has been estranged from her father for years, she reaches out to his younger daughter in this scene.
[MICHELLE] [FEMALE] [14 – 17] Michelle is a timid young girl who is the daughter of Donna William, and step daughter of Howard. She is disturbed and confused after being molested by Howard, and lives in fear for herself and her family’s. When she encounter’s Howard’s elder daughter by chance, she realizes that she is not alone.
WAITING FOR RITA – Director: Mandretti
We are currently casting our short comedy. "Waiting for Rita". The film is being produced
through an upper-level film class at Tri-C with production beginning early July . The short will
be uploaded online and submitted in film festivals. Roles are unpaid. Actors will receive a copy
of the final film. All actors will be credited on IMDB.

is also Ma's son and errand boy.

Destiny is loving, caring and the soon to be girlfriend of Eric.

Ma is very demanding and angry.

Polo Is dripped out with swag and very polished.
[MARVIN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 35-55]
Marvin is the bus stop bump that is always panhandling for money.
[FATHER] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 28-45]
The Father is a heavy-set guy that looks very angry.
[LITTLE KID] [GENDER: MALE or FEMALE] [AGE: 8-12]
The Little Kid is a little brat with little to know home training at all.

Random Guy is a full-time street hustling pick pocketer looking for a new
victim.

Very greedy man that holds up ice cream line.
