Broadview Heights Home Days Features Live Entertainment

The Broadview Heights Home Days offers live entertainment throughout the
weekend, and the nearby beer garden (sponsored by Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater) creates a pub-like atmosphere to relax and
enjoy the bands. The event is held at the Broadview Center (City campus), 9543 Broadview Road, just south of Rt. 82.
Thursday’s
entertainment, “The Cleveland TOPS Swing Band” will play classic big band music
for seniors by seniors from 6:00-8:00PM. Afterwards, Ronnie Fiorentino will
bring a sound and style to his vocals that recall Sinatra, Dino, Sammy, Vinton,
Darrin and others from 8:45-11:00PM.
Friday at 5:30-6:00 PM
Revolutions Dance Academy will perform on stage. “Recess” (Pop-Rock/Alternative)
is back again this year from 6-11PM. During their break at 9PM, dance performers
“Rock’n’Robots” will take the stage.
Saturday’s
entertainment begins with “Nina & Lou’s Line Dancing” including lessons and
performance from 3-4PM. “Spotlights Rock”
will perform in the Beer Garden from 4-6PM. At 5PM there will be an exhibition game on the
football field by the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Rugby Club where they will
show off their footwork skills. The ever-popular Police Dog show will take
place at 7PM. “Phil N’ The Blanks” will perform oldies but goodies from 6-11PM,
with a 1-hour break at 9PM when “The Rock’n Robots” will return to the stage.
Sunday opens with
doo-wop vocal group “Malt Shoppe Memories” from 3-5PM followed by the popular
Pizza-Eating contest at 5:30PM MC’d by DJ Gary Perl. BUBBLE-PALOOZZA, an
interactive family show will take place on Sunday 5-6PM on the football field featuring
Dr. U. R. Awesome. Participation is
encouraged. Closing the festival will be
“The Backstreet Blues Band” from 6:30-10:00PM.
