Shining Star CLE 2023

Premiere solo-singing competition in Northeast Ohio

 

The Seventh Annual Shining Star CLE 2023 is a wonderful opportunity for 10 high school students to sing on the stage of the prestigious Mimi Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square in a competition for over $18,000 in college scholarships. To be eligible you must be a high school student with a 2024-2027 graduation date and live in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit or Wayne counties. The high school music department of the first-place winner receives a bonus as well.

 

Students can upload an audition video on our secure website by Friday, June 30, 2023. There is no fee to enter. All genres of music are welcome.

 

Save the date - Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 7 PM - The Finals Performance

 

First-place winner, Fiona Coughlin from Firestone CLC was an audience favorite last year.  She purposely challenged herself with a unique opera style song choice and it paid off.
