 and twelve sword fighting scenes! Set in 1625. 

Auditions
Friday, October 16, 6:30-9pm
& Saturday, October 17, 5-8PM

Auditions will be held at Geauga Lyric Arts Center 
106 Water St Chardon, Oh (Across the street from theater)

Callback, By Invitation Only:
Sunday, October 18 from 1-5PM

Audition Information:

Ages 13-21 are eligible to auditions

Please prepare a humorous monologue under 60 seconds in length. Be prepared to state what show or book your monologue is from. Everyone will read from the script. 

Nearly all roles will require sword fighting and/or physical fight scenes. Previous stage combat experience not required, as long as you’re willing to learn! 


Rehearsals:
Read through: November 6
Rehearsals starting November 23, generally M-Th and some Sundays
No rehearsals 11/25-28 or 12/21-28, unless called for fight choreography

Performances:
Shows: January 15,16,17,22,23,24,29,31,31, 2016. Fridays & Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 2PM

Casting Information:


D’Artagnan, male, youthful, hopeful, heroic, rebellious, witty 

Athos, male, one of the King’s Musketeers, full of shadows, gravely intelligent 

Porthos, male, one of the King’s Musketeers, full of humor, extremely vain and a dandy 

Aramis, male, one of the King’s Musketeers, full of romance, has high hopes for a future in the church but has a hot temper and loves to be around beautiful women 

Sabine, female, D’Artagnan’s sister, bright, adventurous, determined to marry a Musketeer 

Milady, female, cunning, evil, and willing to do anything to get her way 

Cardinal Richelieu, male, clever and dangerous, good natured façade 

King Louis XIII, male, not necessarily unintelligent but not necessarily intelligent either, beleaguered

Queen Anne, female, sharp and clever, has a secret 

Constance Bonacieux, female, beautiful, young, ingénue 

Doubled Roles—These four actors will need to be able to quickly and convincingly create entirely different characters.
