Feminine Mystique wants to bring Cleveland alive with the first and only known all female reggae show “REGGAE WOMEN ROCK AGAINST CANCER” featuring Cleveland's own Sista T, Ms. BBC, Mz. Ice, Mama Oladeji, Barbara Barrett, Jahtamarie, Charmel, Sister Ceco Salinas Queen Sameerah. Hosted by Ajoy Hood. Music by “Dj Janelle Jelli.”
Cleveland, Ohio - 5/25/2018 – Feminine Mystique presents REGGAE WOMEN ROCK AGAINST CANCER. This is an event to not only set forth a strong foundation that reggae women rock, but to stomp on cancer and show that no matter what, we will continue to fight, love, and heal through music. Many of the artists performing on this show have endured the fight through cancer with a family member or friend. All the amazing women on this show have donated their performances for this fight. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to two families as a surprise. The families have no idea. This all takes place Friday May 25, 2018 doors open at 7pm, at the GROG SHOP 2785 Euclid Heights Blvd. Cleveland Hts, Ohio 44106.

“Sista T” the only female member of Jah Messengers Reggae Band brings light of melody and essence. She has been a part of the band for over 10 years and not only blessed their audience with soulful Reggae music, she also mixes in different genres of music to illuminate every culture. Previously singing with Kool Runnin’s Reggae Band, Sisters of Love and Dub Flex Reggae Ban
“Ms.BBC” is one of Cleveland's
trendsetters she has Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, with a little of Soul, Jazz, and
Blues. Starting from dancehall releasing her 1st album “Untamable” in 2015. Opening for Tanya Stephens, Etana, and Carlos Jones.
She will be releasing her new single “I-Rasta
Valentine” on May 25th.
“Mz. Ice” Founder of Iced Out Productions Singer, songwriter extraordinaire
“Barbara Barrett” Singer, songwriter well received on local and national stages, singing multi- genres of music. Barbara’s “Dawning” album is available through major online distributors.
“Mama Oladeji” African born in
America. Mama Oladeji a world renown Poet, expressing strong beautiful
passionate Poetry, she is a African fashion leader, offering Headwrap
workshops, home remedies, art, jewelry, and much more.
“Sister Ceco Salinas” Standing
strong with Umojah Nation, states
her experiences with reggae bands started out with Ras Matunji and The
Earthforce Band, Istanu Black & The Sweets, Milton Blake and JR
Blessington with opportunities to open for Luciano, working with Dub
Flex, Carlos jones & The PLUS
Band and many more.

It is an early event, with doors opening
at 7:00 PM and show time at 9:00 PM.
Tickets are pre-sold, $10 at the gate.
