                                       LAUREN GUNDERSON

We are seeking a Black actress to play Marianne Angelle in Twin Mask Theatre’s production of The Revolutionists, by Lauren Gunderson.

The playwright describes Marianne as: “30s.  A badass Black woman in Paris, during the French Revolution.  She is from the Caribbean, a free woman, a spy working with her husband Vincent.  She is tough, classy, vigilant, and the sanest one of them all.”

Rehearsals will be at Twin Masks Theatre in Twinsburg from mid-September until the November 1st opening.  Performances will be November 1, 2, 8, 9, and 15 and 16.

This is a real opportunity for a talented performer to work with 3 other highly talented and motivated actresses already cast in the show.  Chris Courtenay is directing.  She has acted and directed for over 40 years on the West Coast and elsewhere, and is highly experienced in creating outstanding theatre productions.

To make an appointment to audition, email chcourtenay1@gmail.com or call 216-903-0503 as soon as possible.
