Theatre Camp Counselor

Location: French Creek Nature & Arts Center

Rate of Pay: $9 per hour

Job Summary: Under the close supervision of the Camp Director, counselors will assist with the planning, design and implementation of French Creek Theatre’s two, week-long acting camps. All staff will be expected to create and lead theatre-based curricula to large groups of youth (grades 2-8), and assist in all day-to-day camp and facility-related operations as needed. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

 

Requirements: Applicants should have or be working toward a degree in theatre, performance or other related field(s). Theatre performance experience. Experience working with children. Reliable transportation.

 

Hours:

·         6/19-22, 10AM-2PM

·         6/25-28, 9AM-1:30PM

·         6/29, 9AM-2PM

·         7/2-3, 10AM-2PM

·         7/9-12, 9AM-3PM

·         7/13, 9AM-3:30PM
