Rubber City Shakespeare Company seeks a part-time Managing Director. Rubber City Shakespeare Company is now in its third year, operating a $50,000+ budget, and produces six shows per artistic year. This is a part-time position, 15-20 hours per week, flexible.
Job Duties includes:
Oversee all administrative staff members
Assist with Job Duties of the marketing manager
Help with major fundraisers (working with fundraising Board committee)
Applying for foundation and corporation grants
Applying for corporate sponsorships
Cultivate and advance Individual giving
Assisting with the organization and execution of fundraising events
Assist in selling ads for the playbill
Maintain budget
Approve business forms
Issue pay checks and approve payroll
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in nonprofit environments.
Experience in applying for grants or sponsorships.
Experience working with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and Google Drive.
Someone who is excited about working for a newer nonprofit.
