EVENT: Dover Players’ Presents a New Dramatic Comedy, Home for the Holidays
Dover Players third production of 2018 is Home for the Holidays, written and directed by Gregory J. Lavelle.
Synopsis: A dramatic comedy set in Brooklyn, New York. The story centers around the Kelly family and brothers Brad and Jim. Sullen older brother, Brad, has never recovered from the murder of his father seventeen years earlier and has vowed never to get over it until he sees dad standing in the dining room on Christmas day. Family discord erupts as naïve young brother, Jim, announces his plan to bring a mysterious and potentially dangerous homeless man to Christmas dinner. The play focuses on the real-world problems of homeless people in the United States and the strength of the family unit.

NOTE: The church is located just north of the intersection of Dover Center Road (runs North and South) and Lorain Avenue (runs East and West) in North Olmsted. As you travel north on Dover Center Road, the church entrance will be on your left. Park behind the church and enter where you see the A-frame sign for Dover Players’ production of Home for the Holidays.
