AUDITION INFORMATION – KRINGLE’S INVENTIONASIUM®

Kringle’s Inventionasium® is a 60 minute, fully immersive, interactive theatrical experience developed in Cleveland by the Mr. Kringle® Company, LLC in association with the Mr. Kringle® Licensing Group.

The Inventionasium® is Mr. Kringle's top secret inventing laboratory. Guests tour different departments, explore each area and engage in hands-on activities to help Kringle, his family, friends and fellow inventors prepare for the holiday season. The experience concludes with a photo opportunity and private visit with Mr. Kringle® as well as a trip through Kringle’s Toy Shoppe®

Kringle’s Inventionasium® entertains over 20,000 guests annually during a 30 day run, attracts diverse families from all across the country and boasts one of the "Best Santas in the U.S.” according to TIME.com. Visit www.mrkringle.com.

Mr. Kringle & Company® Corporate Headquarters is located on Level 1 inside Tower City Center at 230 W Huron Rd. Cleveland, OH 44113.

AUDITION PREPARATION
Please prepare a one minute monologue that showcases heightened characterization and physicality. Sides will be given for cold reads. Dress for movement and come prepared to participate in group character & improvisation exercises. Bring current headshot and resume.

A qualified Performer would meet the following criteria:

• Character actor
• Excellence in performing and sustaining funny voices or accents
• Ability to engage crowds with honest enthusiasm
  
• Loves working with families and children
• Willing to make a difference in a guests’ experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, environment
• Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• +18 years

PERFORMANCE DATES
Previews:

November 14 (VIP/Sponsors), 15, 17, 18 6pm – 8pm

Full Production:

November 20 (Opening); December 1-3, 8-10, 14-17 from 3pm - 8pm;

November 21, 27; December 4-6, 11-13, 18-23 from 10am - 8pm;

November 28 (Winterfest) from 10am - 9pm;

November 22, 29 from 11am - 7pm

December 24 (Closing) from 10am - 3pm  

REHEARSALS

Orientation: Friday October 16^th at 6:30pm

Rehearsal Period: October 19^th to November 19, 2015

Weeknight Rehearsals: 6:00 – 10:00pm.

Weekend Rehearsals:    Saturday rehearsals could be morning or afternoon.

                                       Sunday rehearsals could be afternoon or evening.

ROLES AVAILABLE

All roles are open to ages +18. Positions are Non-Equity. Full and Part-Time schedules available. No participation fees required.

PERFORMANCE COMPENSATION

All Actors will receive hourly compensation for performances.

PAID: $10-14/Hour depending on role.
