Our 8 Week Film School program is Ohio’s premier hands-on filmmaking after school program for kids and teens. Students will re-produce a scene from a popular  movie and learn by experiencing what went into that scene to make it work. From screenwriting to lighting and sound, to camera work to editing, YFA's award winning instructors will guide your child through the creative process and onto a journey of artistic expression using the cinematic arts. The next class in November will recreate a scene from a popular Christmas movie.

Screenwriting. Have a great idea for a movie but don’t know how to write a script. This 4 week class will teach you the ins and outs of Hollywood screenwriting. The class will pen the script for next summers beginners film camp.
