100 Seasons at Cleveland Play House is a fascinating display exhibit that celebrates the past, present and bright future of America’s first professional regional theatre, and recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award.® The exhibit, which encompasses 15 display cases spread across the second and third floors of the Main Library at 325 Superior Ave. NE, features photographs and items spanning the entire history of CPH from its inception in 1915 to the present. Some of these never-before-seen items are on display for the first time. An opening exhibit reception will be led by CPH Director of Education Pamela DiPasquale. Light refreshments will be served, and the Tony Award will be on display during this opening event. The exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public. This exhibit is a partnership between Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Library and Kelvin Smith Library at Case Western Reserve University. Christmas in July
Ralphie is back! CPH is celebrating Christmas in July by giving fans of our Cleveland holiday classic “A Christmas Story” the opportunity to snag their tickets to this sell-out hit in advance. Ticket prices increase after August 1st, making July the ideal time to get in the Christmas spirit (after all, the weather is much nicer!) To celebrate, we've invited Ralphie (clad in full pink bunny suit) to attend events around Cleveland (Including the “100 Seasons of CPH” exhibit reception at Cleveland Public Library, the Saturday July 18 Lake County Captain’s Game, and the North Ridgeville Aut-O-Rama screening of “A Christmas” Story” on July 21.) Some Ralphie appearances are in partnership with the wonderful folks from A Christmas Story House and Museum.
