Rubber City Shakespeare Company is casting non-equity actors for its spring production of William Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, directed by Michele McNeal.

All roles are available. 

Auditions are February 6 from 10am-1pm and 6:30pm-9pm; as well as February 8 from 6:30pm-9pm and are held at the
Summit Artspace 140 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44308.

The production runs April 1-17, Thursday- Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees.  Rehearsals begin March 6 through March 31, from 6:30-10pm (Sunday-Thursday) with the exception of tech week which is 6-11pm. Double Tech will be on SATURDAY 3/26 from 10am-8pm. The company will have off for 3/27, Easter Sunday. 

Please sign up for an audition at www.rubbercityshakes.com/auditions and prepare a short classical (preferably Shakespeare) monologue and prepare to do cold reading from the script. 

This is a non-equity production but stipends will be paid to actors in the production.  Rubber City Shakespeare Company is committed to non-traditional casting, except in cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play.
