Shining Star CLE 2023

Premiere solo-singing competition in Northeast Ohio

 

The Seventh Annual Shining Star CLE 2023 is a wonderful opportunity for 10 high school students to sing on the stage of the prestigious Mimi Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square in a competition for a $10,000 college scholarship.

 

Students can upload an audition video on our secure website by June 30, 2023. There is no fee to enter. All genres of music are welcome.

 

Save the date – Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 7 PM – The Finals Performance

 

Over $18,000 in scholarships will be available for high school students with 2024-2027 graduation dates from Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne counties! And the high school music department of the first-place winner receives a bonus as well.

 

First-place winner, Fiona Coughlin from Firestone CLC was an audience favorite last year.  She purposely challenged herself with a unique opera style song choice and it paid off.
