We had a wonderful day of theater on June 20 at Hudson's Barlow Community Center. Thank you to 'The Hudson Players' for helping us host the event. Over 75 people attended. After the 5 excerpts performed, the adjudicators deliberated and selected the following theaters to go on to perform at OCTA's State Conference in Lima, OH over the Labor Day Weekend.

Invitee #1: Silver Lining Players with "Over the River and Through the Woods”

Invitee #2: Trumbull New Theatre Inc with “Storm Warning”

Alternate: Gates Mills Players, Inc with “It Takes a Village: A Night of One Acts”

For every 4 theaters entering the regional competition, 1 theater is selected along with 1 alternate. Since we had 5 entries this year, the adjudicators selected 2 invitees and 1 alternate. Plus, in order to ensure we have 15 excerpts from all over the state of Ohio performing at State Conference, sometimes the alternates are chosen to perform from the rolling list of regions. This year, the NE region can send their alternate.
