The Lakewood Young Filmmakers Academy's 2020 Summer Camp is a two week filmmaking boot camp in which the students write, shoot and edit a real film from start to finish with the help of award winning industry professionals and mentors.

The highly acclaimed camp culminates in a Red Carpet Premiere of their film at The Capitol Theatre where their movie will be seen by a packed house of filmmakers, media, fans, friends and family.

The campers will be instructed and mentored by experienced AWARD WINNING industry professionals. Past and present mentors have worked on such projects as THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS. WHITE BOY RICK, FRASIER, CHEERS, THE KING OF QUEENS, THE ENORMITY OF LIFE, I SEE YOU, TAKE SHELTER, BOARDWALK EMPIRE and more.

The Camp is scheduled to be held from July 6-17. Monday - Friday from 9am-2pm. The film will premiere at The Capitol Theatre on Thursday, July 23.
