The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning is hiring Resident Teaching Artists within the discipline of digital arts and/or music to join the staff to facilitate school residencies, workshops and professional development. The Resident Teaching Artists will work to ensure the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning develops successful, effective and creative arts integration and educational programs throughout Northeast Ohio for a variety of learners. Resident Teaching Artists will research and develop programs that are innovative, artistic and are connected to core subject matter. RTAs will also gather data, document processes and participate in professional development as appropriate.
The Center for Arts-Inspired
Learning seeks to hire Resident Teaching Artists with experience in music and/or the digital arts. These are part-time (26-35 hours per week) salaried
positions that include benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for those who

In addition to the duties listed above, the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning expects
Resident Teaching Artists to work with the organization in creating a unique strategic
vision. As a team, artists will collaborate and develop innovative programming
that delivers measurable impact, create new partnerships with schools and
venues, improve existing partnerships through communication and transparency,
research and participate in training sessions and communicate regularly with
administrative staff.
We expect everyone to adhere to
organization policies and procedures, work in a safe manner, maintain a
positive and respectful attitude, demonstrate efficient time management,
prioritize workloads, demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and
punctuality, meet department productivity standards and to be creative and have
fun. Really, what’s the point if we all aren’t having fun?
Requirements
Compensation:
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience of the candidate and highly competitive to what is being offered by similar organizations. Resident Teaching Artists also receive paid holidays including Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, accrued sick days, flexible studio time and a two-week vacation after one year of employment.
