convergence-continuum presents

TWO BY PINTER

an evening of Pinter one-acts starring Robert Hawkes and Anne McEvoy

ONE WEEKEND ONLY:  AUG 8-10

On Thurs – Sat, Aug 8 – 10, at 8pm convergence-continuum presents two one-act plays by Harold Pinter starring Robert Hawkes and Anne McEvoy, directed by Susan Soltis, at con-con’s Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood.

In Landscape, Duff talks to Beth, who no longer hears him. Beth talks to herself. It's about love and marriage. And along the way contains a good lesson about the care and feeding of real draft beer.

In A Slight Ache, the tranquil lives of Edward and Flora in their idyllic English village are invaded and transformed by the appearance of the mute and mysterious match-seller lurking outside their back gate.

Tickets $20 general admission, $15 seniors (65+), $10 students at convergence-continuum.org and 216-687-0074.  Two by Pinter is part of con-con’s ‘Tweener series, and all proceeds go to the Save-the-Liminis revitalization fund.
