Join Cleveland State Odyssey Film Camps, a pre-college program for high school students passionate about filmmaking!

Odyssey Film Camps offer hands-on training in the art and craft of filmmaking at Cleveland State University’s School of Film & Media Arts. Led by CSU faculty, students gain access to professional soundstages, editing labs, and an extensive inventory of film production equipment. Odyssey offers 5 different residential or day camps for teens (age13-18) and a unique pre-college film experience on CSU Arts Campus in the heart of Playhouse Square.

5-Day Film Challenge - JUNE  (June 8 -13) 

Each student joins a crew and creates an original film.

Filmmakers Intensive (June 15 - 27)

Each student makes their own film from concept to scriptwriting to directing to postproduction.

Screenwriting (July 6 - 11)

Each student learns screenwriting technique with their own Celtex account and writes their own script.

Acting & Directing (July 13 - 18)

Each student learns film acting and directing, collaborating on each others projects and performances.

5-Day Film Challenge - JULY (July 20 - 25)

Each student joins a crew and creates an original film.
